they left behind a successful full-body repair and motorcycle business getting squeezed by european emission standards. these new regulations led many of their classic and custom car, motorcycle, and chopper customers to sell their vehicles. Roger and Nadine did not want to sell their 1968 customized dodge charger, nor did they want to focus their entire business on daily drivers. they can do it all, as you will see on this website, but they have a passion for old-school American Muscle. so, after more than 30 years in business, they sold their shop and moved to the U.S. in search of a new one. They purchased Kayser Automotive in August 2019 and rebranded it as Steelbodywork.

Steelbodywork is an independent, auto repair garage,  and complete body and paint shop. They work on everyday cars and trucks, as well as classic and customized vehicles. They offer full vehicle maintenance services and collision repair on cars from everywhere in the world, U.S., Europe, Asia, etc.

Steelbodywork also specializes in classic car restoration, having also done so for more than 30 years. there is no restoration project too big or too small. also, if necessary, Steelbodywork can manufacture replacement body parts to exact specifications.

Roger Suppiger is a fully certified Master Autobody Specialist, Mechanic, and Airconditioning Specialist. He is also a fully certified Automotive Master Teacher.
